Our partnership with Haeyven began when they approached us with an ambitious vision: to develop a completely new and unconventional piece of fitness equipment. At that time, there was no existing sensor system, hardware infrastructure, or digital platform, just a bold idea and a goal to create a unique, connected training experience that stood apart from anything else on the market.

Haeyven's flagship product, the ANTAGONIST®, is an innovative full-body strength and cardio training device that utilizes bi-directional flywheel technology. This technology allows for simultaneous training of agonist and antagonist muscle groups, offering a balanced and efficient workout. The device is designed to replace multiple pieces of traditional gym equipment, providing a comprehensive training solution in a single machine.

Co-Developing the Connected Fitness Product

Recognizing the need for a robust digital infrastructure to complement the ANTAGONIST®, Haeyven chose MoveLab as a partner who could co-develop the necessary software ecosystem. Together, we built out the digital experience surrounding the ANTAGONIST®. Utilizing MoveLab Connect, we implemented key features that included:

• Real-time movement visualizations to guide users through exercises and provide instant feedback.

• Workout uploads and a custom online portal for reviewing sessions.

• A training plan database to support structured programs and long-term progress tracking.

• A media library for instructional content, tutorials, and interactive guidance.

• Full app management, ensuring a smooth, intuitive, and integrated user experience.

These features were designed to enhance the user experience and reflect the distinctive nature of Haeyven's product, ensuring that the digital ecosystem was as innovative as the hardware itself.

Launch and Recognition

The collaboration culminated in the successful launch of the ANTAGONIST®, equipped with an end-to-end connected experience delivered through an integrated combination of hardware, software, and content. The product was met with acclaim, culminating in the Innovation and Trend Award at FIBO 2023, recognizing its breakthrough design and technological achievement.
