Transforming Physiotherapy: Bringing Smart Training to Dr. Wolff’s Equipment

Dr. Wolff is a physiotherapy equipment brand known for its high-quality training machines designed for rehabilitation, prevention, and health-focused exercise. When they first approached MoveLab, we were asked to create an experience for their “Prevention Park”, a set of 10 different physiotherapy machines designed for targeted muscle training and injury prevention, that included screens and could be connected to external systems . At that stage, none of the machines had built-in sensors, screens, or any form of digital connectivity.
Their goal was to transform the “Prevention Park” into a fully connected training environment. This meant enabling each machine to track and display repetitions, guide users through exercises, and deliver structured training plans, amongst other capabilities.
Together with NOHRD, MoveLab developed the software required for this vision. We integrated sensors into the machines, added screens for real-time guidance, and connected everything through MoveLab Connect. The system now counts repetitions, delivers exercise videos, and manages training plans.
The first connected Dr. Wolff machine is now fully operational. Plans are already underway to extend this connected transformation to all 10 machines within the “Prevention Park”, creating a smart and digital physiotherapy solution.
